As “Jyoti” means Light and “Gyan” Knowledge “Jyotirgyan” could translate as ‘Knowledge of the Luminaries Aspecting Mortals and Having Effect Upon Their Fates and Fortunes’ or Astrology, which the RSS want included as a discipline for study in ‘general’ or non-specialist Universities.
